David Reed starting up his own company calling it Reeds Landscapes and Building Services.
He had soon built a fine reputation by his customers for completing wonderful projects in their homes and gardens. He realised that he will need to start taking on new members of the team to further expand the business and to gain more customers.
Reed’s Landscapes has now been running as a successful business for 8 years and built up a substantial customer base with plenty of word of mouth referrals. Becoming a member of Checkatrade and The Directory of Excellence, has continued to build a successful and reputable business. At this point, Reed’s now employs several members to add to the team and bought a fleet of work vehicles.
As the business expanded, so did the need for new premises to base the growing business from. Somewhere to house the office, somewhere with a yard to keep the tools of the trade and somewhere that customers could visit. We found a very special place to plant the business roots for the good of the local community too as it was set within the grounds of a beautifully scenic manor house.
The year that was Covid-19 for everyone, everywhere. There were challenges to be had by all
Reed’s have managed to continue working through the year due to the majority of our work being carried out outdoors, we were able to keep a safe distance away from our customers without stepping inside their homes
We can’t say it has been easy though, as we have been very reactive this year, supplies being restricted from shipments coming in from overseas, severe delays and incorrect deliveries due to material shortages across the UK, we have dealt with our customer’s expectations and managed to complete all the projects with positive customer reviews.

This year Reed’s Landscapes Ltd took the opportunity to build some displays using Trex composite decking to create some areas to view at a popular garden centre in Moss End, Berkshire.
Reed’s have created 3x separate decking areas, which show Trex Island Mist composite decking, Trex Lava Rock composite decking and Trex Spiced Rum composite decking.
Upon these decking areas, Gordon Stone shows off their Outdoor Kitchens, which Reed’s Landscapes Ltd are installers of, as well as Garden Trends gorgeous outdoor furniture, why not take a visit to Moss End Garden Village and see for yourself.

We're really pleased with the paving, it looks very smart and very well laid, both the brickwork and the slabs. The guys were very pleasant to have around and we were impressed with how they approached the work and kept the site. We've really enjoyed being in the garden all day catching up on jobs and making it look smarter against the paving! We're now thinking about how we're going to re-design the beds! Thank you very much for a fantastic job recently to install Trex decking to my back garden. This was a very cramped site with several obstacles placed in the way during the installation period all of which were overcome with a cheerful attitude by a professional team. This is now the second time I've used Reeds. They previously changed my fence panels and as I was very happy with the work I asked them to construct a custom built shed down a long, awkward alley at the side of my house. David and his team were excellent from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with both the finished product and professional way in which the handled the job. So much so I've already asked him to quote me for another project!
